What is Natural Latex ?

Natural latex is a milky white liquid derived from the sap of rubber trees (Hevea brasiliensis). The sap is drawn by the sustainable tapping method that does not harm the tree, making latex a completely sustainable choice. After latex is collected, the liquid latex is filtered, turned into latex foam, poured in the molds, and then vulcanised to set its structure. The two most common manufacturing types are Dunlop (denser, firmer feel) and Talalay (lighter, more uniform, and bouncier).

Natural latex offers natural and orthopedic support by dynamically conforming to your body shape thus making it an ideal choice for manufacturing of mattresses and pillows. This avoids building up of extra pressure at hips and shoulders, which cause one to toss and turn during sleep, which can also lead to backaches in the long run.Natural Latex is highly resilient since it offers maximum cushioning and retains its shape over a long period of time, offering consistent level of comfort.

Natural Latex is breathable. Latex Foam has a interconnected cellular structure. Superior microscopic construction of cells, allow latex foam to breathe. This allows for superior airflow, keeping you cool and moisture-free all night long. This continuous cycle of airflow keeps the mattress cool.

Natural Latex is Hypoallergenic. No bacteria or mildew can reside in it. It has been scientifically proven that latex foam kills bacteria. This makes natural latex perfect choice for sensitive sleepers.

Natural Latex is Dust Mite Resistant. Tests prove that latex foam is highly resistant to dust mites than ordinary mattresses.

Natural Latex is completely Eco-friendly as no harmful chemicals are used in its manufacture. It does not emit any hazardous substances and Latex foam is biodegradable.

Natural Latex is highly durable. As the rubber is compounded with suitable antioxidants, the normal life of a correctly formulated mattress is about 15 to 20 years.
